The Pelikultura Calabarzon Film Festival (Philippines) is accepting short films for their sections (Southern Tagalog Shorts Premiere and Exhibition Section) until February 16th (2020) and the #BuhayElbi Section until February 29th (2020). Southern Tagalog Shorts Premiere (Competitive)
– Open to all filmmakers who made a short film related to any aspect of Southern Tagalog culture. Geographically, ST covers the Calabarzon and Mimaropa Regions.
– Films must have been complete after January 1st, 2019.
– Films may be live action or animation and may be in any genre (narrative, documentary, or
experimental).
– Films should be not exceed the 40-minute mark. Longer films may be considered.
– Films which completed in national film competition will NOT be accepted.
– Films should be in the original language with English subtitles.
– The ST Shorts Premiere winner will receive a cash prize of P20,000 and a trophy.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: February 16th, 2020
– Notification Date: February 26th, 2020
#BuhayElbi Section (Competitive)
– Open to filmmakers based in Los Baños, Laguna.
– Films must have been complete after January 1st, 2019.
– Films may be live action or animation and may be in any genre (narrative, documentary, or
experimental).
– Films should be not exceed the 5-minute mark. Longer films may be considered.
– Films which completed in national film competition will NOT be accepted.
– Films should be in the original language with English subtitles.
– The #BuhayELbi winner will receive P5,000 and a trophy.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: February 29th, 2020
– Notification Date: March 15th, 2020
Exhibition Section (Non-Competitive)
– Open to all filmmakers.
– Films must have been complete after January 1st, 2019.
– Films may be short or feature film.
– Films may be live action or animation and may be in any genre (narrative, documentary, or
experimental).
– Films should be in the original language with English subtitles.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: February 16th, 2020
– Notification Date: February 26th, 2020
