We present the list of winners of the 3rd Pista Ng Pelikulang Pilipino which took place from September 13th until 19th in Philippines.
About the festival:
The Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino (PPP) is a week-long celebration of Philippine Cinema where new quality genre Filipino films are screened for one (1) week in all regular cinemas nationwide. No foreign film will be screened during PPP except in specialty cinemas to give the opportunity for the whole country to celebrate its own local films. This event is organized by the Film Development Council of the Philippines in partnership with the National Cinema Association of the Philippines.
About Sine Kabataan:
The Sine Kabataan Short Film Competition gives a platform to all aspiring young filmmakers and provides an opportunity to expose their fresh talents. This serves to encourage the youth to develop their creativity and originality in story-telling, touching on important issues of today as perceived by the youth. The finalists’ entries will be shown in all theaters nationwide on September 2019 during the Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino.
