**2 Nights 3 Days** by Cho Eun-ji – Korea | 2017 – 29 minutes
**Section**: Cinema Old & New: Focus on Korean Directors 2

Ji-eun goes to boyfriend Min-kyu’s house to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. But Min-kyu informs her sudden break-up. She couldn’t leave the place with broken-hearted and decided to live with his family (GISFF 2021).

**As I lay dying** by Zhang Zheng’An – China | 2021 – 20 minutes
**Section**: International Competition 3

After her father’s death, on the night of the vigil, Mengnan, a 30-year-old woman who has left home to recover from her childhood trauma of being beaten by her father, returns to her hometown. Surrounded by relatives who relentlessly chat about the past, she feels uneasy. And then, her father’s soul comes back… (GISFF 2021)

**Asphyxia** by Chuang Shiang An – Taiwan | 2021 – 22 minutes
**Section**: International Competition 5

A burglary made a woman ask for help without thinking from her estranged husband, and the thief was accidentally killed in the case of the theft. Overnight, the husband is viewed as a hero by public opinion, but at the same time he may also be responsible for his involuntary manslaughter. As to the woman, was her husband’s action a defense or an injury? (GISFF 2021)

**Charon** by Yannick Karcher – France | 2020 – 16 minutes
**Section**: International Competition 8

For fear of being killed by boredom, a man, freshly retired, gets involved in the crazy project of building a boat in the cellar of his suburban house (GISFF 2021).

**Cicada** by Yoon Dae-woen – Korea | 2021 – 17 minutes
**Section**: Korean Competition 3

Chang-hyeon, a transgender prostitute encounters a visitor who seems both familiar and alienated to him (GISFF 2021).

**David** by Zachary Woods – USA | 2020 – 12 minutes
**Section**: International Competition 3

David needs help. So does David (GISFF 2021).

**Filipiñana** by Rafael Manuel – UK, Philippines | 2020 – 24 minutes
**Section**: International Competition 1

The self-contained cosmos of the golf course reflects societal structures. Although new ‘tee girl’ Isabel still has to learn the rules, she’s already looking for loopholes to subvert the system (GISFF 2021).

**Ju-Bin** by An Sun-young – Korea | 2020 – 20 minutes
**Section**: Korean Competition 1

A junior high school girl who stays at the academy until the latest every night to study. When everyone goes home, they take off their clothes and start dancing (GISFF 2021).

**Love Jo. Right Now** by Jeong Ga-young – Korea | 2017 – 20 minutes
**Section**: Cinema Old & New: Focus on Korean Directors 2

Director Ga-Young wants to cast In-sung Jo, but there is no scenario yet (GISFF 2021).

**May JEJU Day** by Jude Kang – Korea | 2021 – 14 minutes
**Section**: Korean Competition 1

In Jeju Island, considered the Hawaii of Korea, an incident surnamed “April 3” killed about 1 in 10 people, under control of the US military government, shortly after liberation from Japanese colonial rule. In this film, the children who survived the massacre 70 years ago testify (GISFF 2021).
