Ji-eun goes to boyfriend Min-kyu’s house to celebrate their 2nd anniversary. But Min-kyu informs her sudden break-up. She couldn’t leave the place with broken-hearted and decided to live with his family (GISFF 2021).

Section: International Competition 3
After her father’s death, on the night of the vigil, Mengnan, a 30-year-old woman who has left home to recover from her childhood trauma of being beaten by her father, returns to her hometown. Surrounded by relatives who relentlessly chat about the past, she feels uneasy. And then, her father’s soul comes back… (GISFF 2021)

A burglary made a woman ask for help without thinking from her estranged husband, and the thief was accidentally killed in the case of the theft. Overnight, the husband is viewed as a hero by public opinion, but at the same time he may also be responsible for his involuntary manslaughter. As to the woman, was her husband’s action a defense or an injury? (GISFF 2021)

For fear of being killed by boredom, a man, freshly retired, gets involved in the crazy project of building a boat in the cellar of his suburban house (GISFF 2021).

Chang-hyeon, a transgender prostitute encounters a visitor who seems both familiar and alienated to him (GISFF 2021).

In Jeju Island, considered the Hawaii of Korea, an incident surnamed “April 3” killed about 1 in 10 people, under control of the US military government, shortly after liberation from Japanese colonial rule. In this film, the children who survived the massacre 70 years ago testify (GISFF 2021).
