25th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival – Opening Film

Till We Meet Again by Giddens Ko will open the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival which will take place in cinemas and online from July 8th – 18th, 2021.

About the festival:
The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN) aims to consolidate its identity as a ‘Fantastic Film Festival’ through Fantastic-Genre films and to provide a new and diverse aspects toward Genre film. BIFAN also encourages the understanding of different cultures through the art of fantastic films and facilitates exchange of ideas among film industry professionals from all around the world and those from Korea. Furthermore, the Festival promotes including but not limited to the production and distribution of fantastic films.

Till We Meet Again by Giddens Ko – Taiwan | 2021 – 128 minutes

Xiao-lun, who is struck dead by lightning, has lost memories of his life. While Xiao-lun is working as the god of love, persons with red strings, with his partner Pinky to reincarnate as a human being, Xiao-lun runs into Xiaomi, who was his lover during his life, and recalls his past. Although Xiaomi cannot see him anymore, Xiao-lun couldn’t stop hovering around her, but at the same time he also realizes that he has to find someone else to bond her red string to protect her in an uncertain danger. About the director:
Born in Taiwan in 1978. He first gained fame as a novelist and wrote more than 60 novels. His feature film debut, You Are the Apple of My Eye(2011), an adaptation of his own novel, earned 1.4 billion TWD throughout Asia. He has been active in various fields such as film, TV, online game. In 2017, his horror thriller film mon mon mon MONSTERS won the NH Audience Award at the 21st BIFAN. He visits BIFAN again with his latest film, Till We Meet Again.
