35 Short Films you cannot miss at the 14th Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival

We present a list of thirty-five short films you cannot miss Busan International Kids & Youth Film Festival which will take place from July 9th – 15th, 2019 in Busan, South Korea.

Note: Please remember that these short films will be screen in block with other short films.

A Brother and Sister’s House by Namgung Eun-su – South Korea | 2018 – 13 minutes
Section: Ready – Action! 18

Seon-woo, the captain of the baseball team stays alone with his little sister, Su-jin, at the door of his house. They cannot go inside because they don’t have a key. They feel awkward about being themselves alone because they are not biological siblings. Then, he meets his friends and they find out about who his sister, Su-jin really is. (Biky Catalogue)

Abang by Chia Xuen Low – Taiwan, Malaysia | 2018 – 20 minutes

Ah-won, Jun-young and Ju-ha were doing their unfinished homework. Ah-won and Jun-young, who go to the science lab while leaving Ju-ha alone in the classroom, put acid to slime. Ah-won accidently touches dangerous substance while cleaning a broken beaker. She is infected with the dangerous substance, turns into a zombie and infects other students in school. Due to a flood, Gyeongju and Eunae have to live in a container. Gyeongju wants to befriend Eunae, but Eunae doesn’t open her heart easily. Eunae cannot get adjusted to life in the container and obstinately walks towards the flooded neighborhood. Gyeongju follows her. (Biky Catalogue)
