The DMZ International Documentary Film Festival (DMZ Docs) has established itself as one of the leading and most dynamic documentary film festivals in Asia. Celebrating its 11th edition in 2019, the Festival launched ’DMZ Industry’ which aims to be Asia’s largest industry platform dedicated to Asian documentary films. The program runs three key sections – DMZ Docs Fund for Documentaries in all stages (Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production), DMZ Docs Pitch (for documentaries in Production & Post-Production stages) and DMZ Docs Match.
The newly-launched DMZ Docs Pitch is a financing and co-production forum where Asian creative documentary projects with high potentials are discovered and presented to key industry players ranging from commissioning editors, funders, to broadcasters.
