We take a look at the film that will be opening the Korean Independent Animation Film Festival – Indie-Anifest that will be held from September 22nd – 27th in Seoul, South Korea.

This year the Korean Independent Animation Film Festival – Indie-Anifest will start their activities with the screening of “The Red Turtle” by Michael Dudok De Wit. The ceremony will take place on September 22nd (19:00 pm) at the Seoul Animation Center (8-146 Yejang-dong, Jung-gu, Seoul).

Studio Ghibli’s first international co-production is a ravishing castaway fable that combines beauty, mystery, drama and heartbreak – with not a word spoken. It’s a triumph for animator Michael Dudok de Wit.
