9th Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival – Call for Entry 2021

The Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival is accepting films until March 15th, 2021. Here you can find more information about their call for entry.

About the festival:
The principal objective of Seoul Guro International Kids Film Festival (GUKIFF) is to present the most outstanding films for children, youth, and families produced in all over the world. Established in 2013, GUKIFF is striving to encourage young generations who will lead the film industry and support them to get various opportunities. GUKIFF realized the importance of culture that all the family members can share. GUKIFF wants to introduce various genres of domestic and foreign films dealing with children, family, and dream themes.

General Rules:
– The festival accepts films completed after 1st January 2019.
– The festival accepts feature (over 40 minutes) and shorts (under 40 minutes).
– Films that have never been submitted to the GUKIFF before.
– The festival accepts films that deal with children themes regardless of genre. But there should be no problem screening films for young & family audiences.
– If not with dialogues in Korean or English, films must be subtitled in English. Additionally, all entrants must provide the festival with a script (including the exact time code for each dialogue) either in English or Korean. GUKIFF reserves the right to reject entries that do not have English subtitles.
Submission Fee: FREE
Deadline: March 15th, 2021
Notification Date: April 30th, 2021
