11th Seoul International Extreme Short Image & Film Festival – Opening Films

Sesiff2019logoWe present the short films that will open the 11th Seoul International Extreme Short Image & Film Festival, which will take place from September 3rd – 7th in Seoul, Korea.

About the festival:
Launched in 2009 as the first festival for extreme-short images and films in Asia, SESIFF (Seoul international Extreme-Short Image & Film Festival) celebrates its 11th edition this year. The festival, whose motto is ‘Anyone can make a film’, is one of the ambitious cultural festival in Korea.

Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony will take place on September 3rd at the Yeoungdeungpo Art Hall (596 Gukhoedae-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu) at 19:00 pm.

The Lost Child by Lee Dongju – Korea | 2019 – 10 min.

“Missing child alert” ?The illegal lender, Tae-woo, arrives at an underground parking lot to find the debtor who went MIA. He meets a missing child there. An unidentified woman soon appears, and Taewoo begins to flee with a child.

Audition on the Subway by Son Heunisong – Korea | 2019 – 5 min.

Unknown Actress Yunji gets on the subway after finishing her part time work. At that time, a famous director calls Yunji and the director says that her role will be a singer. Now he asks Yunji to sing over the phone.

Discipline by Christophe M. Saber – Switzerland | 2014 – 12 min.

Saoud is the king of his neighborhood in Saint Etienne, France. A rumor comes up that he might have stolen money from the local mosque. Saoud faces a violent series of accusations which will lead to his fall and exile.
