Usay is an Amis name meaning lovers. Chih-Yuan is a Han-Chinese name meaning wisdom and harmony. The connection between Taoyuan-Saowac and Hualien-Matalin tribe is also a dialogue between Chih-Yuan and Usay. This path of seeking out Usay and settling Chih-Yuan requires courage and is a necessary journey to take (WMW 2021).
