The organizers of the Korean Film Festival in Australia announced the dates for this year’s edition.
The Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA) is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary with screenings on four Australian cities; Sydney (August 22-31), Canberra (August 22-25), Brisbane (September 5-8) and Melbourne (September 5-12). Presented by the Korean Cultural Center Australia, the festival showcases the very best cinematography from Korea. The full programme will be announce soon. Tickets will go on sale from August 1st in Sydney and Canberra; and on August 16 in Brisbane and Melbourne. The venues for this year are the Dendy Opera Quays (Sydney), the Palace Electric Cinema (Canberra), the Elizabeth Picture Theatre (Brisbane) and the Capitol Theatre (Melboune).

Launched in 2010 the KOFFIA aims to generate interest in Korean Cinema within the local community, raise the understanding of the aesthetics of Korean films, share the virtue of Korean Culture and Tradition and to provide support and give opportunity to aspiring Korean filmmakers.
