A love letter to Filipina Domestic Workers of Hong Kong, this film highlights the community’s passionate street dancing and one woman’s plan to run away. Captured on Super-16 amidst the Hong Kong protests. WE DON’T DANCE FOR NOTHING tackles LGBTQ+ themes, issues of workers’ rights, and Hong Kong’s political landscape. (VAFF 2022)
