These are four films you shouldn’t miss at the Taiwan Film Festival Berlin (Germany) which is taking place until October 2, 2022.

**Goddamned Asura** by Lou Yi-An – Taiwan | 2021 – 116 minutes

On his 18th birthday, Jan Wen shoots randomly at the crowds in a night market for unknown reasons. The tragic incident causes a strong impact on the lives of his family and friends, the victims and the witnesses. However, if there was a chance for them to make different choices, would the tragedy still happen? Will it be a different outcome if they all changed their behavior at the crucial moment? **Listen Before You Sing** by Yang Chih-Lin – Taiwan | 2021 – 113 minutes

An elementary school in the mountains is to be abolished due to the decreasing population. The PE teacher is assigned to form a choir and to win the national choir contest to solve the crisis. With limited resources and absolutely no music background, the PE teacher and a group of tone-deaf students start to prepare for the contest. The choir and their community eventually find their own voice and identity. (TFFB 2022)
