Dear Asian filmmakers, the FEST – New Directors/New Films Festival (Portugal) is accepting films until March 19, 2023.

About the festival:
FEST – New Directors | New Films Festival is an all-encompassing celebration of the new tendencies of world cinema. The event focuses on a competitive and non-competitive showcase of the most promising new figures and works from around the globe.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts fiction and non-fiction feature films (above 55 minutes) from directors who are on their first or second feature-length project, regardless of age. Fiction, Documentary, Animation, and Experimental Short films (up to 54 minutes of duration) from directors who have completed no more than two feature films, regardless of age.
– The films must have been completed after the 1st of January 2022 and they must not have been screened in previous editions of the Festival.
– Films can be submitted via the official website, FilmFreeway, Click for Festivals, or Festhome.
