July Jung won Best Director Award for Next Sohee at the 26th Fantasia International Film Festival

Eleven Asian films were awarded at the 26th Fantasia International Film Festival which is taking place from July 14 until August 3, 2022 in Montreal, Canada. You can find the winners HERE.

The 46th Hong Kong International Film Festival (August 15 -31, 2022) announced that the opening films will be “Where the Wind Blows” by Philip Yung, and “Warriors of Future” by Ng Yuen-fai. You can read more information about the films HERE.

We presented the Asian films (SEE HERE) that will be screened at the DokuFest – International Documentary and Short Film Festival which will take place from August 5 – 13, 2022 in Prizren, Kosovo.

Finally, we presented the Asian films (SEE HERE) that will be screened at the Edinburgh International Film Festival which will take place from August 12 – 20, 2022 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

We published news about the winners of the Experimental Film & Video Festival in Seoul (EXiS) (SEE HERE) which took place from July 14 – 21, 2022. And the winners of the Skip City International D-Cinema Festival (SEE HERE) which took place in cinemas from July 16 – 24, and online from July 21 – 27, 2022.

18th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival

This past week we finished recommending 20 short films (See PART 1 and PART 2) and 20 feature films (See PART 1 and PART 2) for the 18th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, which will take place from August 11 – 16, 2022 in the city of Jecheon, South Korea.

We also selected 7 feature films and 3 short films (SEE HERE) from the Mulan International Film Festival, which will take place from August 12 – 19, 2022 in Toronto, Canada.
