The Aichi International Women’s Film Festival is accepting films until May 4th, 2019. Here you can find more information about their call.

The Aichi International Women’s Film Festival has supported the advancement of women in society and promoted international exchange between women since its launch in 1996. They screen films directed by female directors, invite world-famous female directors and rising female directors, and hold guest talks and symposium that provide the participants with opportunities to exchange their views and ideas in order to promote the realization of a gender-equal society.

General Rules:
– The director of the film MUST be female.
– Films must be completed after January 1st, 2018.
– The festival accepts live-action films and animation of all genres including drama and documentary.
– Must be films running less than 50 minutes.
– Should not have been broadcasted on Japanese terrestrial television prior to September 8th, 2019.
– For non-Japanese language films, Japanese subtitles or English subtitles are required. Finalists will be also required to submit the script in original-language and in English with time code for Japanese subtitles.
– Film entries must be submitted on DVD-Video (NTSC, region-free, without copy protection).
– Submissions are done via the festival’s website. Entry form can be downloaded from there too.
– The festival gives Cash Awards.
– Notification date: July 2019
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: May 4th, 2019

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Mujeres de Aichi acepta películas hasta el 4 de Mayo, 2019. Aquí podrás encontrar más información sobre la convocatoria.

El Festival Internacional de Cine de Mujeres de Aichi ha apoyado el avance de las mujeres en la sociedad y ha promovido el intercambio internacional entre mujeres desde su lanzamiento en 1996.

Reglas Generales:
– El director debe ser una Mujer.
– La película debe estar producida después del 1ro de enero de 2018.
– El festival acepta películas de cualquier género incluyendo dramas, documentales y animación.
– El film no debe sobrepasar los 50 minutos.
– El film no debe haberse estrenado en la televisión japonesa previamente al festival.
– Las películas de habla NO japonesa deben contener subtítulos en inglés o japonés.
– Las películas deben enviarse en DVD-Video (NTSC, sin región, y sin protección anticopia).
– La inscripción debe realizarse en la página web del festival. El formulario de inscripción puede descargarse en la misma página.
– El festival otorga premios en efectivo.
– Fecha de notificación: Julio 2019
– Costo de la Convocatoria: GRATIS
– Fecha límite: 4 de mayo de 2019.
