Tori and Lokita directed by Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Luc Dardenne will open the Jeonju International Film Festival which starts today, April 27, until May 6, 2023 in Jeonju, Korea.

In Belgium today, a young boy and an adolescent girl who have travelled alone from Africa pit their invincible friendship against the difficult conditions of their exile. (JeonjuIFF 2023)

About the directors:
Born in 1951 and 1954 in Belgium. They have directed numerous documentaries. In 1975, Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne created Dérives, the company that has produced some sixty documentaries, including their own. In 1994, they created Les Films du Fleuve for the production of feature films.
