
Three Asian films will be screened at the BUFF – International Children and Young People’s Film Festival in Malmö (Sweden) which is taking place from March 11 – 17, 2023.
– Feature Films –

Two twelve-year-olds, Sangdan and Tang Yu, meet among the mountains and valleys of the Chinese countryside. Sangdan is dreaming of crafting butter sculptures in a faraway Tibetan monastery. Tang Yu has escaped from his strict parents in the city. Together they go on an adventurous journey. This is a delicate coming-of-age road trip for middle school. (BUFF2023)

Best friends, Roma and Toto, call themselves “The Don Glees”. It’s their last summer together before Toto moves away – a summer that turns out to be anything but quiet. “The Don Glees” acquire a third member and, when the gang is blamed for a forest fire, they are forced out into the wilderness where friendships are put to the test.
