17th MOTELX Lisbon International Horror Film Festival – Call for Entry 2023

Dear Asian filmmakers, the MOTELX Lisbon International Horror Film Festival (Portugal) is accepting films until June 15, 2023.

About the festival:
MOTELX – Lisbon International Horror Film Festival promotes the best of horror produced worldwide while also encouraging the national production of genre films. The Festival has conquered a very relevant positioning in the international circuit of genre film festivals, becoming one of the most expected and highlighted cultural events of the year in Lisbon.

Eligibility:
– Films must be produced after January 1, 2021.
– The festival accepts feature (over 60 minutes), medium (between 29-59 minutes), and short films (under 25 minutes).
– Re-submissions are not accepted.
– The screener copies whose language is not English should be subtitled in that language, including those spoken in Portuguese.
– Submissions of Portuguese productions or co-productions with a majority of Portuguese participation are exempt from paying submission fees.
– The participants are fully responsible for the content of the films they submit, namely in what concerns copyrights. Participants who are underage must have a written and signed authorisation from their parents or legal guardians.
